Welcome to The Big Africa Cycle website. My name is Peter Gostelow and in August 2009 I left England to cycle to Cape Town. This is my second major bicycle adventure. Between 2005-2008 I cycled from Japan-England.
My route has taken me through west, central, east and southern Africa, a journey of over 30,000km through more than 25 countries.
Have a read through the most recent blog posts or start from the very beginning. I’m currently in Namibia (May 2012) and coming towards the end of this epic journey. About 2 months and 2000-3000km separate me from the finish line in Cape Town. Your support through following/commenting on my blog posts and/or making a contribution to the Against Malaria Foundation is a great motivation. May 14th, 2012 (8 comments)
For those of you who probably never got to hear me being interviewed on Radio here in Windhoek last week, here is the recording. I’m off again tomorrow. Back on the gravel and heading south. Another two weeks and I should be crossing into South Africa.
