I haven’t bothered with a Rabies jab – they’re expensive and I cycled 3 years without one – lots of dogs in India, Tibet, Iran, Turkey and Jordan, but I used the age-old stone throwing to keep them away. My husband Jedrzej and I are knee-deep into preparing for our own trip in November(but I wish we could be leaving next month too!).
