I admire your stubbornness towards bribes - to be tired & hot and still patient is quite admirable.

Also, love the flag stickers on the front fender.

@Peter, I'm talking about the seating area - that appears to be angled down slightly because of the bowing effect. Nose-to-tail the whole saddle looks fairly level. I've noticed many people with B17s angle the whole saddle slightly upwards, which makes the seating area slightly more level. I just thought you might be sliding ever so slightly forwards as you are, putting pressure on your shins. But of course changing the Brooks angle could give rise to other more pressing problems.

Hi - is the Brooks angled down? There is no reasoning, but if I change the position now it will probably feel strange

Peter, what a come-back after the events of March! You are a very special person and I wish you all the very best for your journey and your fantastic cause. It must have been quite a feeling helping to distribute some of those mosquito nets that your efforts have directly helped to fund. Bravo! By the way, I can't help notice in the above photograph that you've chosen to angle your B-17 saddle such that the seating area slopes slightly downwards. What is the thinking behind this? Do you have a particularly aggressive cycle-touring gait necessitating such a set-up or is the position simply a compromise between the rather uncomfortable extremes of the Brooks adjustment spectrum?
